BANGARANG!
it's been awhile. in lieu of my laptop being out of commision i'm using trustworthy connects of the desktop computing world. and i just needed to share this latest track by pogo.
it's like my heart is a piece of butter, filling up with warmth and sliding down a hot piece of toast.
boy does this bring back some incredible memories.

Be Mine?

No ... wait ... yes!
Evan and I are pretty cynical when it comes to Valentine's Day, and usually Mr. Hallmark and Ms. Rose are not invited to dinner.
That said, we agree it's a great day for random acts of kindness, and there's certainly room for fun. Random acts of silliness?
Silliness is what the above is all about. If I still worked in an office, I would anonymously post this in the cafeteria. Since I live in a city, I plan to put a few up alongside the pleas for babysitters and dog walkers on the bulletin boards and flyer-friendly walls around Paris.
If you want to join in the fun, you can download the flyer here.

a little monday night/tuesday morning inspiration.
A wonderful little exerpt from this wonderful article, Facing Paradoxes in My Underwear* (like some sort of superhero! Only neurotic instead of heroic)

"Every time I got dressed, I felt like I was culling the clothes of my current life from the end of the timeline. And everyone knows what is at the ends of the timelines: God and Dinosaurs. Or you know, if you are looking at the other end - Death. So I threw it all out. Fat clothes, skinny clothes, Calvin Klein jeans and skorts. Now, my only options are what I am doing right now, in the size I am right now. Is scary as shit. Right now I peep in and see just the big assed ‘End’ to my Death Timeline. Which strangely enough, looks a lot like the fashion choices for God and Dinosaurs."
